Peter Jankulovski (BAppSc) managing director
Peter has been involved in one facet or another in the online industry from the very early days of internet commercialisation in the early 90s. He has extensive business experience in the Internet industry stretching over a wide variety of roles, having being involved with publicly listed companies and leading internationally successful ventures from inception. His invaluable contribution to the industry has included roles in project, technical and content/editorial management, marketing, advertising, business development, public relations, retail, electronic commerce and journalism.
Peter was a co-founder of the very successful Hotgames.com games publication, acquired in 1999 in a multi-million dollar sale by Fortunecity.com, a Top 25 global Internet property. As Vice President of Content and Development, Peter was responsible for the overall operation and growth of the international publication, managing no less than 18 staff members in Australia, Europe and the U.S. With a hands-on role in design and development, Peter also played a major part in marketing and business development, and oversaw the rollout of the company's e-commerce and CRM systems in Australia and the U.S. Peter was responsible for securing an exclusively unique key partnership with Microsoft's MSN, contributing to over a quarter of Hotgames.com's readership. In addition, Peter was involved in forming strategic partnerships with NineMSN, Yahoo, Telstra, Netscape and Excite, among others. With over 12.5 million page views per month in April 2000, Hotgames.com was a Top 500 Internet property worldwide and one of the most visited web sites of any kind to be produced in Australia. Peter played an instrumental role in the sale of the business, spending over 3 months working in the company's global offices in London, New York and San Francisco, as well as attending various related trade shows around the world.
Prior to Hotgames.com, Peter was an online marketing manager at Beam Software, Australia's largest computer games developer (now part of the Infogrames group). Peter was the first employee and a co-founder of Beam's online Marketing team, and is credited for pioneering and creating marketing systems and PR procedures for online promotion. He has a history in retail management in the games industry and created and launched one of the very first e-commerce enabled specialist retail web sites within the bricks-and-mortar small business sector in Australia. He is also a regular contributor to many games-related and general print and online publications in Australia and abroad, having interviewed key industry figures such as Tom Kalinske, Nolan Bushnell, Peter Molyneux, Will Wright and others. Peter has an Applied Science degree in Multimedia Technologies, specialising in user interfaces and HCI.

Kelly Barrett (BE Hons)

Kelly is responsible for leading the design and development of Vapormedia's publishing and interactive games systems, designing and managing its common and versatile back-end platform that facilitates the company's core business of providing and serving its applications as an ASP. Kelly also developed the company's e-commerce systems, and oversees the entire hardware and technical infrastructure in providing Vapormedia's online presence.
Having a Melbourne University Honours degree in Computer Engineering, Kelly was the lead Systems Programmer at Hotgames.com in the late 90s, writing and leading a team of developers to produce the back-end database, content and publishing management systems used to produce over 80,000 web pages that made up the Hotgames.com content portal. In addition, Kelly was involved with the successful implementation of CRM systems around its e-commerce platform, as well as designing and developing the majority of the web site's community-building and user interaction services. He also acted as administrator for the company's various servers. In the acquisition and relocation of the Hotgames.com business, Kelly played a key role in migrating the systems over to a new platform, as well as spending significant time at the company's head office in New York, leading and training staff in the company's well developed technical procedures.
Kelly went on to become the Technical Systems Director at Hitwise, responsible for the Internet traffic measurement technology of the company. He has significant input into the design and implementation of the back-end database systems that are regularly used to process unprecedented amounts of data each day, providing accurate traffic measurement services for web site activity in Australia, New Zealand, United States, United Kingdom, Hong Kong and Singapore. Kelly was involved in seeing Hitwise grow from a company of 30 employees to a company with a world-wide presence of more than 200 employees and the resulting US$240 million sale to Experian in June 2007.
